Japan Copyright Association Requests OpenAI to Stop Using Its Works for AI Training
The Japan Copyright Association, along with members such as Studio Ghibli, sent a letter to OpenAI requesting the cessation of unauthorized use of copyrighted works for training AI models. Since March, when image generators were launched, users have extensively generated images imitating the Studio Ghibli style, triggering copyright disputes.
